Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil
This is my ground zero product. My starter. My beginning. Dermalogica’s Precleanse Cleansing Oil is a lightweight cleansing oil that gently liquifies sebum and oil-based debris from the skin’s surface. The hydrophilic (water-loving) formula enables Precleanse and oil-based debris to be readily rinsed away without leaving behind any greasy residue.
The formula of this product is really unique. It’s designed to have larger molecules that won’t clog pores or leave your skin oily. It’s fortified with conditioning essential fatty acids to help smooth, calm, and nourish the skin. Precleanse is great for makeup removal and doesn’t irritate the eyes like some similar products on the market do. This product contains Borage Seed, Apricot Kernel, and Vitamin E that work together to soften and soothe the skin.
My Opinion: Precleanse was the first product I learned about and applied when I started Esthetics school. I was lucky to have a former Dermalogica Sales Rep as my esthetics instructor. She was a wealth of knowledge that she shared with us as she used her experience to guide us. Because of her, I use Dermalogica in my facial treatments today. Precleanse is a crucial product that is used as the first step in all of my treatments. It feels great, it smells great, and it works great. Many of my clients have purchased this from me after their facial. It does have a lot of ingredients and essential oils so make sure to check if you have allergies!
