Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40

Calling all my dry-skin people! This product was practically made for you. This complexion product is packed with helpful ingredients that look natural and seamless on the skin. Some note-worthy ingredients are Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder and Allantoin to soothe the skin, as well as Squalane and Shea Butter Ethyl Esters to nourish the skin. Of course, we can’t forget the Zinc Oxide that acts as a strong UV protector. On Ilia’s official website, this product is said to deliver light coverage, potent skincare, and a dewy finish. It has a great shade range of 36 skin tones.

My Opinion: This product is very much geared to a specific skin-type. If you have dry skin, I would HIGHLY recommend this product. As a dry skin girl myself, this has been a favorite foundation of mine for a while. It never clings to dry patches, nor does it look heavy on the skin. You may see this product described by some to be “greasy” or “oily”. Again, if you have an oilier skin type, this may be what you experience with this product. Keep in mind what type of products fit your skin type. I love having a strong SPF in my base products, it makes it perfect to use in the summer! While this skin tint includes many skin-care ingredients, DO NOT use it as a replacement for an actual skincare routine. My least favorite thing about this product is the smell. It’s unscented which is usually great except you are left with a scent of playdough mixed with tree bark. (Maybe test one in-store first)
